Patients with IBD have lower physical activity levels and more sedentary behavior than non-IBD individuals. In this MEDtalk, Marie Villumsen presents the results of a Danish study showing that moderate to high physical activity among patients with IBD, in addition to medical treatment, is associated with higher self-rated physical health and higher mental quality of life.
