The Effect of Adjuvant Treatment on Overall Survival in Melanoma Stage III Patients

In this MEDtalk from the ESMO 2024 Congress, Hildur Helgadottir discusses the effects of adjuvant treatments in stage 3 melanoma using data from the Swedish Melanoma Registry. Despite the implementation of adjuvant treatment in 2018, after showing improved relapse-free survival, the study found no significant improvement in overall survival with three years of follow-up. The study compared patients before and after treatment implementation.
