Survival Rates for Patients with NSCLC with Brain Metastases following Whole Brain Radiotherapy

In this MEDtalk from ELCC23, Astrid Telhaug Karlsson, presents the findings of a study involving 141 NSCLC patients with brain metastases. The study aimed to investigate the connection between ECOG status and overall survival after receiving whole brain radiotherapy. According to the results, patients with an ECOG 2 status have the same poor prognosis as patients with ECOG 3 & 4 and should not be provided with whole brain radiotherapy.
