Mammography Screening Is the Best Way to Reduce the Risk of a Premature Death from Breast Cancer

Missing either one of the last two screening examinations conferred a significantly higher risk of dying from breast cancer. This is the result of a study presented in this MEDtalk by Dr. László Tabár, which was conducted about the beneficial effect of consecutive screening mammography examination on mortality from breast cancer. It indicated that modern therapy are not going to accomplish a significant decrease in mortality without early detection. In that perspective participating in regular high-quality screening is the best, according to László Tabár.
