Low Health Literacy is Associated with Lower Levels of Education, Progressive Disease Types and Higher Disease Severity in MS

This study, presented at ECTRIMS 2024, investigated health literacy in people with MS, focusing on two domains: understanding health information and engaging with healthcare providers. Results showed that individuals with MS face more challenges compared to the general population. Especialy Low health literacy was linked to lower education levels, progressive disease types, and higher disease severity.
