Is Hidden Brain Inflammation the Cause of Migraine Aura?
PhD student Rune Christensen from the Danish Headache Center, Rigshospitalet, presents in this MEDtalk a study using MRI to explore whether neuroinflammation is present in migraine with aura. It suggests that neuroinflammation, specifically within the visual cortex, is a driving factor for aura and the subsequent development of migraine headaches.
