This study investigates the occurrence of flares in autoimmune rheumatic diseases following COVID-19 infection. Latika Gupta presents the results in this MEDtalk, including the fact that monitoring for disease flares post-COVID-19 infection is crucial in vulnerable groups. At the same time the results underscores that vaccination is safe and should no longer be considered a risk factor for causing disease flares in these patients.
