Colon Involvement or Isolated Small Intestinal Resection is Associated with a Higher Risk of Re-Resection in Crohn’s Disease Patients

A recent study aimed to describe the re-resection rates for Crohn’s disease patients and identify disease-modifying factors and risk factors for disease recurrence and re-resections. It shows, among other things, that colon involvement or isolated small intestinal resection is associated with a higher risk of re-resection.
