The study aimed to determine whether adding docetaxel to standard chemotherapy regimens (FOLFOX or CAPOX) improves survival in patients with advanced gastric and gastroesophageal adenocarcinomas, as well as to assess the usefulness of continuing chemotherapy beyond six months in this group of patients.
