Vincent Van Pesch

Vincent van Pesch is a researcher with expertise in epidemiological research focused on disease characterization and prediction among patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. His PhD project, “The PRESAGER Vision,” utilizes innovative IT methods and interdisciplinary collaboration with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen to classify the various aspects of these diseases, including endoscopy and histology, using artificial intelligence. The project aims to develop improved tools to assist clinicians in selecting appropriate treatments for patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and potentially predict disease progression in individual patients.
