Sergio Giralt

Sergio Giralt, MD, FACP, is Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, USA, and Chief Medical Officer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, USA. His main specialties are allogeneic blood and marrow transplantation for blood disorders, the treatment of leukemia, myeloma and lymphoma, clinical trials in stem cell transplantation, transplant in older patients, and cell therapy for myeloma.

Sergio Giralt got his medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela and completed his medical fellowship at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is, among others, a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the North American Society of Blood and Bone Marrow Transplantation (ASBMT).
