Robert Ofenloch

Robert Ofenloch, PhD, works at the Section of Occupational Dermatology in the Department of Dermatology at the University Hospital of Heidelberg, Germany. He graduated from the Faculty of Social Science at the University of Mannheim. He did his PhD-equivalent studies at the Department of Clinical Social Medicine at the University Hospital Heidelberg on the development and validation of the Quality of Life in Hand Eczema Questionnaire (QOLHEQ).

Robert Ofenloch also participated in the fragrance study of the European Dermato-Epidemiological Network (EDEN), determining the prevalence of fragrance contact allergy in five European countries. As an epidemiologist, he is particularly interested in risk factors for (occupational) skin diseases and their social inequal distribution in society.
