Micaela Hernberg

Micaela Hernberg is working at The comprehensive cancer center at Helsinki University Hospital as chief physician for the solid tumor unit. Clinically she has worked since the 90’s with clinical and translational melanoma research involving the introduction of checkpoint inhibitors and targeted therapies since the beginning of this millennium running more than 30 clinical trials. Translational studies have covered the tumor micro environment as well as in Vivo drug testing with collaborators at FIMM and Helsinki university.
