Ilja Kalashnikov
Ilja Kalashnikov completed his graduation from Turku University in 2014 and subsequently entered the field of oncology at Turku University Hospital. Engaging in patient care, he developed a strong interest in lymphoma. During his early years in this field, he had the privilege of receiving valuable guidance from highly skilled clinical mentors.
Presently, he is fully engaged in his doctoral research on lymphoma at the University of Helsinki. He expresses gratitude for the mentorship provided by his supervisors, Sirkku Jyrkkiö and Professor Sirpa Leppä. Currently, his research activities encompass multiple projects focused on the epidemiology, molecular characteristics, and genetic makeup of nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin lymphoma.
