Henrik Nielsen

Henrik Nielsen is a well-known Danish doctor who retired from his work as a rheumatologist in 2017 after more than 47 years of service. Henrik has worked in several different hospitals in Denmark, and since his retirement, he has continued his research in immunological diseases, including the role of the environment. Henrik Nielsen is a member of the EULAR Standing Committee and COST Action Program 2020 (and up to now), where 18 EU Member States, represented by health professionals, will produce a report on the microbiome dysfunction and medical dysfunction in chronic fatigue syndrome. His primary research interests are treatment options for autoimmune diseases.
