Triplet Chemotherapy in HER2-Positive Gastroesophageal Cancer

In this MEDtalk, Nour Al Houda Ayoub, MD, Department of Oncology, Odense University Hospital, Odense, Denmark, presents a study investigating trastuzumab in combination with triplet chemotherapy in patients with HER2-positive advanced gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma who were not candidates for immunotherapy or other targeted treatments. The study examined feasibility, tolerability, and survival outcomes. The treatment was found to be feasible and generally tolerable, but larger studies with a control arm are needed.
