Evaluation of treatment efficacy in chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) is inherently challenging. This complexity reflects the marked biological and clinical heterogeneity of the disorder, as well as the substantial placebo response consistently reported in clinical trials.
